How to Instal a reversing Camera in a Mondeo MK4 

Nice video. A little tip, you can get the reversing wire through the rubber tubing between tailgate and body simply by spraying the end of the cable with white grease, it makes it really slippery and it will slide through no problem. :)

you are a brave man... removing so many parts with clips outside on snow.... :) good job any way... my camera on MK4 is wired on right side .. there is factory canal for wires all the way to front...

Looks nice and handy, but for removing such many parts to install the wire, personally, I would not bother doing it. I prefer using mirrors for backing up. Good job anyway!

Were you able to activate the screen touch button lights?

Could you link to the boot release/camera unit? having issues finding one to fit the mondeo - can only find them without the release switch... cheers!

One thing I don't get with these mondeos though (and this is completely off-topic), is that the demisters, why did they put the buttons so far away from the drivers side, it's like on my newer model I have right now (newer being 2013 reg), they're in the same side basically. I had this same model as well 2008 reg, but yeah I had problems with it lol. Anyway, yeah, thanks for the video.

You should have run the cables on the roof of the car because then they would have been more than long enough

No need to do all the wiring - I simply fitted a radio controlled unit to send the signal to the head unit...much much easier...
