These are sealed. If you are going to experience failures with an LED typically it will be within the first 1-2 years. That is why we cover them with our standard two-year warranty that allows for a full replacement if you should experience any issues! Only thing i dislike about these, is the void in the lower corners. Why not make the entire "C" shape led turn amber when turn signals are on? However, the clearly are an upgrade
We appreciate honest review. We offer an amber DRL option with a fully blacked out housing for this headlight as well if that is something you prefer. As this was one of our first product designs we will take that into consideration for future releases! I have passed the suggestion along to our team.
This is one sealed housing there is no bulbs to replace. LED typically fail within the first two years if there is going to be any issues so that is why we cover them with our standard two year warranty. Outside of that is it expected that the life of LEDs is around 40,000 hours so there would be no need to replace bulbs.
I was looking at form the reflector and projector models on your website. Is there a specific reason the projector model is so much more expensive than the reflector kit?
The output on projector style headlights is significantly better. Both options offer an improvement over stock lights, but with the projector we are able to put out a more intense beam pattern that goes right up to a razor sharp cutoff line. That cutoff can be easily aimed allowing you to get more output while also not blinding oncoming traffic. If you head back to the product listing we have output comparisons between all three options.
These look amazing, I'm heavily considering these compared to Alpharex or Morimoto. I just prefer the look of these headlights compared to the others. Currently running the stock HID projectors on my '16 sierra.
I just bought and installed a pair of projector headlights for my 2015 Denali 1500, they look and preform amazing. My only question is even though I have DRL’s from factory do I still need to run that separate harness to make them work? With the factory plug plugged in, I have no DRL’s and in the day time no unlock sequence, just the hazards come on.

This is an issue we have seen before, an don some of the trucks like yours that come with DRL for the factory you still need to tap the DRL to maintain this function with our lamps. Simply follow the DRL fuse tap instructions in this video and use our included harness and you should be good to go! Has there been any reports about these lights giving the computer a hard time where it detects low voltage? Because it is programmed to detect the voltage the halogens are versus the LEDs
This is common with LEDs when upgrading from halogen lights, and that's exactly why our lights come with built in resistors so you won't experience this!
I purchased one these and they look great but my issue is my daytime or DRL is low beam of the headlight instead of the what it should be. Any advice or suggestions to this?

If there is not a notch in the box already you can cut a small slot out of the side in a place that is convenient to route the wire out of the box. This will allow the wire to lay flat and should be cut out of the fuse box not the lid if you decide to do so.
Was there a rule change or something that allowed companies to make better headlamps or something? I have a 2014 gmc which came with candle powered headlights from factory and was looking hard for options a few years ago, and the selection was pretty limited other than the 16+ Denali light mod.
LED headlights were not a common option from manufacturers until the late 2010s! This left many vehicles, such as yours, with a lot to be desired in terms of output. Thankfully, a company like ours exists to help fill that gap. Our plug-and-play options are all an upgrade over the stock halogen headlights of the past!
@@formlighting Your housings are certainly in the running, my current stock housing has developed a leak it seems and only a matter of time before the moisture ruins things. I appreciate the design of your light, imo the Alpha Nova just seems a little much for me design wise. Has there been any compassion's done vs the Morimoto's and Alpha nova?
@@md1028 No comparison out on these at this time, unfortunately. However, I can share that our projector low beam produces just over 22,500 candela, and our reflector option produces roughly 18,500 candela. These are a huge improvement over the stock lamps!

Just got these for my 2018, im having an issue where the DRLs only turn on when I physically turn the headlight knob to the DRL is there any way to get them working on auto
