I plan to get one and use the "basket of personal drying cloths" method to help the environment and stop using tp. Just use one to dry after cleaning, put it in a designated hamper, and wash them in hot water to sanitize. (Works for our body towels, why not booty towels? 😆)
At the very beginning when you turn off the water supply… do you have to flush the toilet tank empty before you remove the line or will a full tank not flow out of the bottom connection?
You don't have to flush the toilet tank because on this toilet tank the fill valve is one of the seals that keeps the water in the toilet tank. The others being the tank bolts, flush valve seal and gasket (usually in the middle of the toilet tank).
Ah i see after fiddling with it, i think it was previously cross threaded as it went on with almost no force and became tilted, i may have messed up but i can't get it off. There are no leaks though and i used some of that ribbon tape provided iwth the bidet and the oring i'm assuming will help my mistake. May call a plumber, thanks for the video though! Lesson learned!
