sorry, i did not install it in a window... i will make a video of that soon.. way easier than what i did... job took 1 hour from start to finish and I LOVE IT SO MUCH
I'm in NW Fl. pretty humid/hot here too. ALWAYS go bigger vs. enough when it comes to window units. You already know from living in Houston it usually ends up better on the bill too if it's not working it's ass off just to keep up. Shops looking good Chris..
if you wash the coils out every other year at the least they will last 10yrs provided bearings or electronics dont fail. i have many old LGs and even a few older modern units that are close to 8yrs old that were going to be trashed before i got to them. its always dirty coils
When i was younger and went over to my cousin's house she had this huge window unit that had the whole house freezing cold, im trying to figure out if this might be the same size/brand as the one she had😊
@heidirivera5203 I'm having this problem now. I have an apartment and it's many different rooms. The kitchen and living room are open to the dinning room and my 10btu is no match for the space. I could jump up to an 18k btu and close the doors to the rooms that do have doors BUT I'd rather over do it and go with the 24k and keep the doors open. I'd rather have 1 big capable AC then 4 different ones in different rooms. Just hoping thr cool air will navigate the house and not get trapped in the main area
