How to install a Blow of Valve on a Nissan Juke Nismo RS

@@ecp4538 Do you have the model number of the Turbosmart valve and suggestions of where to buy from mate? my twin lads are apprentice service techs with Jaguar Land Rover so might be able to get it trade but they won't know which supplier. Thanks.

lol I could of done this in under 2 min, its normal to see the hoses bulge but a uprated one that doesn't flex would give you a louder noise you wouldn't, gain any BHP as the BOV will still release at the desired pressure limit regardless

@@ecp4538 Soo much easier that the Focus ST recirc valve. I gave up on mine and just blocked off the small vacuum hose under the plenum and get a nice turbo surge.

Hey buddy stand alone the CVT is fine, but they don't have any real potential to tune, they just arnt designed for it.

@@ecp4538How many miles does it change the timing chain ,engine oil , gearbox oil and what oil you use for the engine , I don't know the weaknesses

About 38mpg buddy

@@ecp4538 thanks, been looking into the nismo juke, heard stories you get low 30s high 20s average but 38 is responsible 👍🏻

@@jasonkane657, I drive spirited but don't beat on it and get roughly 22-25mpg on a stock tune, no mods. It may be different in the states though.

Russell Jackson states here: high 20s to 30 highway worth the cruise control on, mid 20s lower city

The only reason for one of these to be fitted is for the noise buddy I know there is no power etc benefit to having it fitted

Apologises for the late reply. its not great for performance but it wont overheat the turbo and the ECU will constantly maintain the correct air/fuel ration, you will just lose HP.

@@ecp4538 WHY WOULD IT LOSE HP ??? its just dumping boost after power is been made

@@FASTU-mz3tm sorry rushing through comments that I have not replied to for 3 years, should re-thrase, you will loose performance as your dumping the excess air, that would be used to re-circulate back through the turbo to keep it spinning.
