After installing everything, the steering shaft slights taps a peice of metal and rattles a bit, I’m not sure why anyone know easy fix besides grinding it a bit?

Okay new question. How did you get your steering shaft to separate? I tried loosening those bolts after locking my steering wheel but the shit won’t come far enough apart to fit the spacer in.
