The system is supposed to automatically shut off your air handler in the event of a backup. I didn’t see anything about that in your video.

@@HowToWithLech This isn't the one with the electric float switch that will actually shut the system down if it backs up. Why did you go with this "dumb" version if it won't actually shut the system down?

@@AustinMichael you are referring to the pump right? it does have that, just needs to be connected to the system. its those extra wires.
