Todays video is how to install a Grab Rail at home, I say at home but really it's anywhere that you need one installed.
I have been disabled for a few years and have had to rely on the help of others quite a lot, recently though, my mother (my best friend), unfortunately got diagnosed with the BIG 'C' and it has affected her in a major way with the partial loss of use of her legs. My mum loves to come round as 'Mrs S' is an amazing cook and well who doesn't like to eat? I am lucky to have an outside toilet as she and I don't have to go to the upstairs one, this one though wasn't adapted and we can't exactly use the handle to pull ourselves up on. This gave me the excuse to go get a hand rail, what I didn't expect was how cheap it was, £14, that's a bargain and I thought why not make this video of the install, because most people, especially disabled people, don't think they can do these simple tasks and I thought I would show that if I can do it 'NOT A PROFFESSIONAL', then anyone can do it to.
