Thank you! I did everything on the written instructions and it was leaking. I didn’t know that I could take out the bolt out for short showers! Amazing thank you
Thanks so much....I feel brave enough to put the one I purchased into use. Honestly, ours didn't actually have instructions for the hand held model we purchased...just a set of instructions for same brand shower head installation only. BUT I believe this well put together video will be the ticket!!
Thank you for helping me put this on. I’ve never done anything like this before so I was worried about screwing it up. Great video! Shower head works AMAZING! Love it. 😀
Thank you very much! the paper instructions are confusing as hell lol. Just one recommended modification. Put the rubber thing when installing lock nut and put LOTs of Teflon tape on it beforehand.
This was excellent. I usually think of myself as good with written instructions, but the ones that came with the shower head were dizzying to me -- probably because I'm the anti-handyman. But your demonstration and explanation were perfect. Well done!
Thanks for this I definitely needed it. I used the teflon tape on the threads after I put the lock nut on though because the lock nut kept pulling them off. I also added the second washer to the shower diverter before installing it because it wasn't in it. So lock nut two black washers shower diverter and it stopped the leak.
Thank you for the video. It definitely cut my install time. Also, very good recommendation on suction handler. I purchased since it would work perfectly for my 4yr old son in grabbing and placing hand-held shower handle. Keep it up !!!
@EquipMeOT Definitely getting the holder! My will be 5 in 2 weeks year old daughter (lol) still hates water in her eyes! I'm hoping this new shower head will help with that, especially if she can reach it!
Lady you are heaven sent❤️😇❤️‼️‼️I am so happy you made this video because I literally just received my showerhead in the mail today and I lost my manua🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😭😭😭😭 thank you so much I greatly appreciate you and this video💯💯💯🥰🥰🥰
You video is great however the stationary fixture is not releasing any water. My husband and I tried moving the knob up down and straight and nothing is coming out would you know why by chance?
Which tub-spouts (with integrated side-connector) are connectable to this AquaDance? I'm SO frustrated that companies never offer info as to which tub-spouts their products can be connected to!! Believe it or not, there are still some of us who take baths while sitting on floor of tub - and we like a water-massage while we're immersed inside tub. We badly need this for therapy.
Hi! Great video. Question. I installed this and it wasn’t until I did the test with just the main shower head that when I changed it from one setting to the next, the entire mount moved. The lock nut just spins when I tried to tighten it counter clockwise against the other piece. I wonder if I screwed the lock nut up too high and off the threads, perhaps.
Thanks for this video for the hand held shower head. I am tall and she is not - the unit you installed will not work because she has a difficult time reaching that high. I have been looking at grab bar style shower head with dual spray heads (tall and short) but many of the units seem to be controlled up above and that will not work for her. I could do a configuration where a add my own grab bar. The most important aspect is a hand unit where it is activated low for her. Do you have any suggestions?
Having the toggle to switch between shower head and hand held located behind the shower head, up high, makes it bad for physically challenged people. Any ideas on how to solve that one? Thanks for the video.
One way you can adjust would be to add a pressure adjustment valve to the hand held hose between the hose and shower head. Then you can leave the hand held low and toggle it on and off as needed. That doesn’t solve the issue of turning the big head on and off though. Just would give you full control of the hand held component.
is it possible to add a water filter to the pipe coming out of the wall?? I have seen a combo of a shower head, water filter and a handheld but they appear to only come in polished chrome instead of brushed chrome.
I thank you for this video, I do have a question though. I am disabled, and upon purchasing this unit (the Agua Dance high pressure 3 way twin shower combo) I had maintenance at my apartment complex install it for me. and he set it so that I could use just the handheld part. then my daughter and grandsons came and lived with me for a time while they searched for their own place. It worked out ok, because they could always switch it back to handheld when they were done. Problem now is that even though I specifically requested that they switch my shower back to handheld when they moved. of course they did not, and I've no idea how to achieve this. I've replayed the part where you reach up and turn something, but I cannot tell what. could you tell me what you're turning to get the handheld going. I'd so appreciate it.
I’m sorry you find yourself in this situation! On the piece that attaches to the shower head (on the side opposite the hand held shower head attachment) there should be a control knob. If you can reach up and feel the knob it has 3 positions, the hand held shower head only setting is the middle position. On mine, the middle position has the knob pointing at the static shower head. Hope that helps!
This system is on sale on amazon right now for $35 and the added hand held shower head holder is $8. I linked both in the description. For around $25 you can get one that is only the hand held component. Hope that helps!
Question - i am an OT and work in a CCRC. We use the standard vertical bracket to hold the hand held shower spray which can be moved up and down to accommodate the person talking the seated shower. I’m wondering about the set up here that you showed. I’m assuming that one of the advantages has to do with the flexibility of being able to move the hand held shower anywhere you need it- just in a vertical orientation. Thi king about a friend who may need this.
Great videos! I have this shower system and when I install the water diverter, (with or without the locknut), the handheld hose is at the top. If I leave it on the bottom, it isn't tight enough and it leaks. I tried adding an extra washer but that didn't work, because then the diverter won't hold. What can I do besides live with it in the downside-up position?
@@nocause5395 11 months later, but THANK YOU! I just did what you indicated (teflon tape AFTER putting lock nut in place) and it stopped my leak! I was going crazy constantly putting it on and taking it off to figure out the cause
the instruction vids are not all together, they say to turn the lock nut one way, not correct. i got the new shower head with my old hose works great. now, tell me how can i take off the holder so i cab restation it ??
again, i ask you how can i remove the shower head holder so i can re locate it ?? i cannot use the over head shower head unless i remove the one and bring down please, please help.
Make sure the knob on the side is positioned so both the main and hand held are on. If you grab the knob (should be opposite the hand held shower head holder on the piece that attaches to the supply pipe) and turn it until it clicks it will change which devices (or both) are on.
