Aeromotive's breakthrough Phantom fuel system makes plumbing a high-performance fuel system easy. We install one on Project Valiant using Twist-Lok -AN plumbing components from Russell Performance.
Nice work and very cool project! Looks like that Russell install oil really helped when putting the hose on the fittings, all the videos I've seen use a heat gun to soften it up a bit
One of the better videos I have found by far. I recently electrocuted my truck bed and need to make a spring bed for the 81 f100. Will I have it down to the frame might as well do it. I think the rubber hoses and just doing it again 3 or so year is a good idea so make it convent to do.
There was lots of room in the Engine compartment in my GF's Dart with slant 6 engine .. I am interested in the 4 link suspension for sure.. I will go research a fuel system from Areomotive for an LS Swap now .. It looks like Holley offers fuel pumps that can go into the stock old carbureted car fuel line and gas gauge hole.. I just realized may have to keep the fuel level gauge float in the stock location with this set up .. Holley and others use a 30 micron sock in the fuel pick up line .. It's supposed to be able . I need 58 PSI for an LS-3 .. but don't know what pressure Nitrous spray bars need for an LS engine.. I have adjustable regulator for carbureted Nitrous and run about 3 PSI for the correct air Nitrous level
Exactly. NHRA rules limit rubber hose in the fuel supply to maximum 12". There's a good reason for that. Also, equivalent aluminum line is cheaper than hose.
