How to Install a Kohler Hyten Raised Toilet Seat? | Install and Review 

I am so happy with your tutorial! I'm 74, and just had my second hip surgery. The Kohler Hyten Toilet Seat is an answer to my prayers. I took the old seat off and installed the new one in less than 15 minutes. It would not have been that simple without your excellent instructions. Thank you!

I love my Kohler raised toliet seat . I did buy one over a year ago the wrong one elongated compared to round but works great anyway. Wish I had installed over a year ago my knees thank you so much

Great video! I ordered mine from Amazon, Lowes didn’t carry the elongated one, and I should have it on Friday. My left hip replacement surgery is June 6th and I’m trying to get everything ready. I love this seat, however it has shifted sideways. How do I fix this? I figured it out by using the quick release catch and reseating it. I want to thank you so much for your wonderful tips. I got the toilet seat and the bath bench and it got me through all the months of being in a wheelchair after ankle surgery.

This is great!! it was time for me to change my toilets anyway which I did a few years ago and got the ADA height however, my mom had to come live with me and even the ADA was a little bit of a struggle for her. I did have one of those toilet seat risers, the ugly one that just sits on top and is always open and looks really ugly. And being that hard plastic, it just didn’t seem sanitary no matter how much I cleaned it. The bathroom she uses is also the guest bathroom when I have company so I am always always cleaning it just to be sure that it’s presentable to, whoever needs to use it. Now with this, I think I am going to go ahead and order one. because it just looks like a a toilet . My only question is can I use this with the grab bar that is currently installed on the toilet? It’s just a single grab bar that attaches to the bolts on the back of the toilet seat. It has one of those push buttons that you attach.Please let me know than you so much. Wish I knew about you three years ago ❤❤❤❤❤

Preparing for THR - purchased this toilet seat & Kmina safety rails. The walker I have is a little too wide to easily get into the toilet area. Do you have any suggestions?

Installed this in preparation for my THR, my only problem is it’s not compatible with the bidet which goes in between the seat and the toilet bowl.

Hi just installed my Kohler raised seat and when I use the quick release button to remove the seat, the white plastic covers lift off with the seat. Is this supposed to happen, or did I do something wrong? Other than that I love it and thank you so much for this video!

Hi. Do you have any suggestions for sturdy raised toilet seats that can handle things like uncontrolled movement, tremor or just people who aren't able to sit down in a controlled manner but tend to flop all of which put strain on the attachments?

I have a Koehler elongated toilet. This new toilet seat is great, but it’s too short! I called K and they said all elongated K toilets should work with this. So frustrating at 76. I have the elongated version.

Is there a pillow or cushion for people who no longer have any muscle mass or fat on their backside? Hard to sit comfortably. Love your videos

EquipMeOT , manufacturers as a rule do not include the distance between the mounting holes that the seat is made for. If adjustments are possible on the seat to make it fit, they don't include the range of adjustments. What is the range of adjustment for this seat??
