I've decided shopping for the right new tractor can be an overwhelming process! Based on being a ChuckE2009 subscriber and watching a lot of the Messick videos ( and a bunch of other competitor videos) I can say that I feel confident in my decision to buy a Kubota. Thank you for the educational and honest videos both of you. Too bad that Messick's isn't located close to me. My Kubota dealer has a good reputation so here we go..
Great job Lance !! I am very glad you went with Kubota !! Also thank you Messick's for sharing this procedure !! You all be safe and God bless you and your families !!!!!! Eddy
Thanks for the video! Could not find answers, so will ask again 1) about how much were the parts, did they come in a kit, part number woukd be great and 2) how difficult was it to find/obtain the parts? Many thanks.
Thanks for this video. Just purchased a M110GX which has ( like most mid-sized K's ) the same control bodies. Mine came with 2. Was considering if I needed the third what it would take. Cheers
+ChuckE2009 +Messick Farm Equipment (Neil) What I really want to know is what did these hydraulic remotes "upgrade" cost? I know for a fact that adding hydraulic remotes to any tractor is typically VERY costly. The nice thing about "new" equipment is that these "add-on" field service kits are available from the manufacturer/dealer and don't require any significant fabrication like older tractors often require. Also interested in how long (real, actual time, NOT "flat-rate book" time) it took you to do the full install, from start to finish. Do each of the additional remotes you added have a detent for a "float" position, or is the float-detent only in the original #1 remote valve? For a future release video, let's see them actually operate something hydraulic powered.
Cool video, how about a How to for a 3rd function kit for a BX23S? Might be a little selfish as I just picked one up, but reading the directions it seems like there might be some unnecessary steps but would like a video. :)
Hello Chucky do your valves actually hold position I had them install a set on my bx2380 and it seems like the valves seep and the hydraulic cylinder will change position when there is a load on it. It doesn't leak hydraulic fluid on the floor it just leaks or by passes through the valve in other words
cheaper to buy hay than to buy all the equipment to cut hay. Large round bails sell for $20.00-$25.00 ea. It would take a long time to add up 100 K + for tractor and related equipment to bail hay yourself. I just don't see where one can come out ahead bailing your own hay
