Kolpin is definitely much easier. I wanted to make something easy for whoever buys it. They can technically leave this mount on year around and still ride trails which I like. A lot of mount that are under the quad get tore up if you don’t take them off 🤘🏼

You can try Dennis Kirk. They usually have all the parts for Moose products. I’m surprised you snapped it. Moose is probably the most heavy duty plow on the market. You must of hit something hard to snap it. I’ve bounced this thing off rocks and what not and so far it’s been doing great. Next snow storm I planned on making a video plowing with it. We have a dirt driveway so it’s super unpredictable what’s under the snow. I try to clean up before a storm and make sure no big rocks are out and about.

@@LetDirtFly i just called this rep from some parts company that works directly with Moose and he told me they changed vendors who make their plows I think he said 10 years ago or so. They do not make the old county plow the same way. It's only 19 inches on the high side compared to my old one which is 24 inches. And it's way too curved too so it catches snow and snaps over too much. It doesn't even move as much snow. I can move more snow with my old plow than this new fancy one. Pretty sad actually. And I'm reporting this because I'm an expert at plowing with a YAMAHA GRIZZLY and Moose Plow from 2008. The last 16 years I only had to have a buddy of mine reweld the push tubes one time. They recently broke and I went and bought a new YAMAHA and new plow by Moose thinking I'd have the best new equipment: NOT SO. The Yamaha Grizzly seems fine but that new Moose plow is so far a FAIL. I'm going to try and troubleshoot this but I see already the changes made with Moose were not for the better.

I will say compared to other manufacturers on the market, Moose is still the most heavy duty. I didn’t have any problems pushing snow in our last storm which was 16”. The problem is, as a society, we’ve failed. Manufactures try to find the cheapest and most efficient ways to get pump a product out. That means cutting corners and making things with the cheapest materials they can and the cheapest labor. If you think this plow is bad, Can-ams plows is a plastic composite. The Kolpin plow that’s popular had almost no curve to the blade and is made of thin metal so it’s very light.

@@LetDirtFly My friend Kyle who has a channel called 'Midwest Survival' and his dad and other brother know how to make things. These are guys like you that are men of activity. I'm just learning a few things but I believe I have intelligence enough to make accurate observations and will give an honest users opinion based on my own experience. I'm going to try and see if we can construct a good plow and market it for select equipment. It's not easy but I know men need good equipment and the hastle of finding good products today that can do the job is becoming more difficult. That's why we try and network with people like you who also know by experience what's actually going on. Thanks. David.

That is hard. You will have to give up some performance somewhere of the 3 it would probable be the motos, not sure of their weight. the 30 aztex 42lb and 30 crytids 41lb. Teraches will out shine either in mud, will give up some on the hard pack.
