Many yrs ago...I had a delete kit made up for my car...$ 300.00..there are very nice storage areas where the bottom seat was...high quality hinges and beautiful covering for the delete parts...looks like a factory install...now a true 2 seater....most people never even notice...😀😀

These are worth the extra money. The backs of the kit are painted black and this kit is sturdier than the cheaper rear seat delete kit from MMR. You can place a little bit of weight on top of these kits too.
Dominic Froome not sure. You're really not saving a lot with just the delete kit UNLESS you also remove the Mach sound audio stuff as well. The bottom of the seat is very light- the top isn't too much heavier either

I'm considering buying Corbeau FX1 racing seats too. Only weigh 19 pounds per seat. (Overall 36 pounds lighter than the original seats.) I bet the Mach 460 unit and speakers are surprisingly heavy too. :)
