Thank you so much. It only took a few minutes and you gave me the courage to do it. At the hardware store they told me there was no guarantee if a plumber did not install it and that would have cost a bundle. Empowerment comes through sharing knowledge!
Thank you! This was super helpful. We just bought our first home and the shower heads are broken so we need to fix them ourselves. I've followed the instructions in your video and you've been a lifesaver!!
Sorry to ask but I would like to provide a handheld shower for my elderly parents but I would have to do it myself (woman - no experience) - do you think I could do that? If you have any tips, I would really appreciate it. Aussie here.
Hi Bill, before I do some irreversible damage attempting, is it possible to swap a bath tap, without tap mixers, to a handheld shower hose? I love my baths, but I need to wash my hair, too.
Thank you so much Bill.i found your video a great help.i used my old shower plate as the new one was a different design and was not compatible with connections.you gave me the confidence.
I don't want to call a plumber...so here I am 🤦♀️ you've explained it pretty straight forward, thank you & wish me luck 👍 Edit- Omg thank you soo much it worked! I think I might become a plumber now 😁
Perfect vid. Clear and in focus with appropriate distance of camera to object, simple but all inclusive informative instructions. Oh and straight to the point with no bs like telling us how to open the packet and also what’s inside the packet when obviously we can see that already haha. I mean I’d have got it by myself obviously as it’s just a simple untighten and then tighten but being able to know for sure first helped. Especially the direction to put the tape on as that I did not know 👌
Yeah ours is currently held up by a shoelace xD didn't know how easy it was I'll be dragging my man's out to bunnings so I can fix it. Ty for the tutorial!
Gday mate, love your stuff. Got a problem. When using shower , there’s a loud hissing noise but the more I turn the water on the less sound it makes but I don’t want to waste that much water. Got a solution and maybe a vid on how to fix. Cheers brother.
Hey we have the same shower head and want to replace it to a totally different shower head. Do I need a plumber for that? Or can it fit onto the same attachment that’s already installed
Probably good idea for people to remember that he's using pink PTFE tape. If you're using the white stuff you need wayyyyyy more tape on the thread as it's thinner than the pink tape.
Hey Bill, greats vids keep it up. Could you do a video on the taps aswell in the shower ? I have the same set up so I’d be interested to see how easy it is. Cheers !
My cover plate is stuck on the wall, I can’t remove it. I don’t understand how I’m meant to remove it? It’s so old and gross and rusty so I really want to remove it…
Hey mate quick question, I've got a swivel showerhead (similar to the one in your video where you replaced a hand-held shower head), would this shower head be able to fit into that one no worries?
Not for a shower... If the taps are off, you're good to go. You'll get a little wet from the water that's still in the shower head and pipe but that's it.
