good to know that it will work through that plastic hull, at first I was thinking to get a transducer mount , but now I will give a shot like you did. cheers mate.

Have you had any issues with mounting the transducer like that? If this is a good solution for mounting a transducer inside a kayak that does not have a mounting point in the bottom then I'm all for it. I didn't get to see it used enough in this video to really understand how well it worked.

Surely if there is air pockets in the sealant than it will cause interference

What battery r u used 12 v or 17 v!!!

Is there a hole in the bottom of the kayak for transducer or does it pick up through the kayak Hull
