Sorry to hear. Which link in specific was giving you trouble? I just checked ALL description links on mobile & desktop and all populated correctly. I appreciate the feedback!
Hey, hope you guys are good. I wanted swap my headlining for my focus mk4 from grey to black. I have found the parts but it would be the first time I’ve done something like this. I can’t find anything specific to the mk4 so I was wondering if you know how different it might be or anything I need to worry about? For example, I have a sunroof and I’m going to swap the front sunglasses/courtesy light part for a black version which comes with electrics for those buttons attached. This part is from a Kuga mk3 but it has the same part number and seems to fit fine. But will there be an issue with electrics that the would recognise this part doesn’t belong and not open/close the sunroof and blind? Hope that makes sense, thanks for the detailed video btw, great explanation throughout 👍🏼
Appreciate the feedback and glad the video helped. It’s hard to say since we have never done what you are describing. For the concept of just doing the headliner and star, I would imagine it be similar. The electric part is up in the air and don’t wanna say yes and it being a no but I think it has a chance that it can still work fine from some insight you said. There’s always a way of doing things but you may need to think outside the box if it doesn’t just go hand in hand. Let me know how it goes and good luck!
Thanks for the response! It’s taking some time with the progress as I’m trying to plan it and find parts cheap. It’s planned out and should be done in a couple weeks! Will definitely let you know how it goes, it’s a shame I can’t post the results.
If you are asking about removal, probably not the same but could be similar. My Subaru was different than the ST sunroof removal. You could also put stars in that part but not the most fun install...
@@EliC216 If it is just the shade, there should be a way to remove it especially without taking the glass off. I have not done it on an Accord so can't explain how to remove it but I'm almost certain that you can.
I believe Spencer used the 96" x 60" size option from the fabric link in the description. However, regardless of the ST platform, I would take a tape measure and measure the length & width of your headliner and add extra to account for slack/tucking/grooves. Can always trim but never add.
