How to install a Steering wheel with horn=)

The steering wheel that I bought came with two different horn buttons. I believe one horn button has two and the other button has one. Alright man thanks a lot. I'll be emailing you some pics of it in a bit. I really appreciate all the help man.

@ascue3 thanks bro, and for the clock spring there are 4 screws around it and remove the black cover that looks like a neck and under it there will be 2 clips that are connected to the clock spring. from those clips, the blue wire is the ground(-) and the green is the power(+) try touching them together to see if ur horn works and for the horn its the same thing just connect the - and + directly to the steering wheel

You can get a steering wheel the hub and quick release off ebay for about $50 depending on the car ur putting it in.

Another question man, where does that red wire go? and since i don't have quick relase would i have to drill a hole like you did in your hub to run the ground from the steering wheel?

when you press on the horn button you are actually completing the circuit by grounding it. There is no hot wire going up to your horn button. The hot wire is on your horn itself.

yes. but make sure u get the hub specific for ur model car

@TheBrandonliteyr yea the airbag is kinda out of the question, there is a way to put the air bad in with an aftermarket steering wheel there is a nice thread of info at dsmtuners dot c o m just search thier forums :) or just wear ur seat belt and ull be fine lol

Great video man. I have a steering wheel like this for my 95 eclipse, but i dont how to take off the clock spring. Could you give me some advise how to take it off, and also i dont have the quick release so could you point me in some direction on how to wire the horn up without the quick release? Thanks man!

so you can bolt the wheel right on to the hub and not use the quick release part? thats cool. cause i want to get a race style wheel like that but i dont need quick release because i dont race or drift

@ascue3 the red wire goes onto the horn next to the ground wire and it depends on which one you have. does your horn have 2 spots behind it for 2 wires? is it only has one, then just run the red wire to it and there should be a piece of metal behind your horn that connects to that if there is only one. if you want you can send me pics of your situation to my email razon3558@yahoo.com and i could help you out some more :)

I want to know why these steering wheel adapter kits are like $15. bucks for Hondas, and Mitsubishi's, and other small cars or rice burners, but for any GM i have to pay $90. Bucks for the exact same identical adapter!?!?! This is price gouging if ever ive seen it. It is every web site on the net and every seller on Fleabay. !!!! Very infuriating !!!!
