Yes mate any help with a factory head unit would be great, plus it's another video so why not;) I have a volvo c30 and lacking bass so maybe need an rca adapter and a active undeseat sub/amp but im not sure lol
RCA cables needs to be seperated from plus cable only if you are using amplifier for speakers which can make different unwanted noises from the speakers and can damage the speakers. If you dont want thise noises just buy a ground loop adapter which comes from RCA preouts on radio to RCA cables. Otherwise nice job on this tutorial it is very helpful.
Excellent. But next time, close the video demonstrating results. In this case we needed a sheila beeing blasted into orbit after some bass boosted bad ass music!
to those who might be a bit confused about the gain knob.... turn up your stereo to max and run a sound test... start with gain somewhere in the middle and gradually turn it up until you start hearing some distortions... turn it down from there just ever so slightly and leave it there... dont treat it as a volume knob and leave it on max
That subwoofer seems familiar 🤔 if u take the top port plug out does it have a blue led face inside? They're really nice subs.. should've had some sound clips of it! Nice vid btw
Defiantly. I actually added some to my rear seat during this. I want to soundproof behind the doors and replace those speakers so I’ll do a video when I get around to it.
I have a speaker that comes with built-in lights. Where should I connect its positive terminal so that the speaker lights turn on when I switch on my vehicle lights? Also should I connect the ground wire as shown in this video? Pls help. Great video by the way!
Got a new 2018 Peugeot 3008 suv. Vvvvv intrested in adding extra noise to her New video mate on adding bass boxes sort of thing to factory head units........go
When you use the RCA jacks in the back for the sub only, Does the other regular 4 speakers just hooked up to the radio wires, and just play off the stereo power, right??
My b7 a4 has a stock sub and amp in the back. I have the stock headunit and i was wondering if there would be any smart solution for me. Is it possible to take the signal from there and run the power like shown in the vid.
Hello , did you do an video with factory head unit ? I have similar subwoofer, I want to try to install it to my bmw 1series 2005 , it has sat nav so want to keep original head unit would love to see how to do it , don't want to fry anything up
i had a doubt wiring a powered sub in a jvc 2 din head uNit.. Should i use the RCA cables for signal / sound or is the high to low audio converter a better option. my stereo supports RCA output. but the installiation fellow told me that using speaker wires through a high to low audio converter will give better results. Pls guide me..
I’ve just looked it up online. It looks very similar to Auto Finesse’s Aqua Coat. I would like to do a group test to see how it stands up to hydrosilex.
Normally you have to take a feed from the rear speakers. My girlfriend should be getting a new car soon so I might try and tap into the factory h/u on the new one.
Don’t understand what you meant when you said it doesn’t matter about having the power lead and the signal lead separated : because subs are muffled anyway ? 😂
