here's the thing though.... why do you need a retractable fender. The purpose of the fender is to stay rigid in your bike. no need for the retractable feature. Its just more expensive and a little bit heavier due to the specs you don;t even need
Hi Gsus. While some may find it not very useful, some people find the compromise on the good side. While some may not have multiple bikes to choose from under a particular weather condition, not to mention that not all bikes have good compatibility with all fenders on the market. So, this product, I think is a decent compromise. It's not as expensive where I come from - in fact, it's half the price (less than) of the full fenders. A little heavier - yes, could be.
