Just gave up on installing a tension rod. Tried every which way but it just wouldn't tighten. Calling my super tomorrow to install a rod with screws. Guess I'm not meant for the DIY program.

Hi There, It all depends on the type of rod but try turing one section into the other to screw it back in. Hope this helps!

How can I unlock a curtain rod that is too long for the cavity? It should loosen but seems locked... I can make it bigger but not smaller.
