How to install a Top Feeder Port in the Anel Hive [Top Feeder Port DIY upgrade now available!]

I have installed several of these ports now and I have cut through some foam. It seems to stop short of center lid. Not sure if they designed it to foam that way or if the manufacturer knows the sweet spot on over filling. Great observation and I can see the foam back in lid around the hole. I'm honestly not certain about the forage that the bees have in that location. I do know most people believe that the fall honey runs darker than spring but we are seeing some very light colored honey this fall as well. Thanks for the question! #RTBBF
