How convenient that the bore-hole for the vessel drain was already available on the countertop. The one-third of this video that ACTUALLY covers "How to Install a Vessel Sink" will likely not win any DIY Helper Awards.

At 2:17 on the video the most important point was skipped. That makes this video invalid and useless. As a plumber, you didn't explain the hole size of the vessel drain on the countertop, or how big a hole in the plywood under the countertop for the sink drain. Thus leaving plumbers stuck every single time on these installations until they form a relationship with the countertop companies. The best thing to do if you are stuck with this situation is to call the countertop company back and tell them to try and install the sink and drain. If they can't explain how, make them take the whole granite or whatever countertop out and cut the whole properly. What's a matter with these countertop companies cutting and inch and three quarter hole when then could drill a three inch hole for the plumber's wrench in the future.

Show the process of overflow alignment AND sealing the drain at the bottom of sink.
