Attaching the doorbell to the mount is a little difficult but once it locks into place it seems extremely sturdy. ru-vid.comUgkxxHZwMa8CsRjYhf9s4W8w0Dwm47uytWOp I replaced my regular doorbell with this and hard wired it in, using my existing wires and mechanical chime. It works perfect so far and integrates perfectly with my blink camera system. It also works seamlessly with Alexa

To which entity - or entities - does this technology transmit the data it collects? The so-called "internet of things" promises convenience but it is practically guaranteed to provide information its users freely give to companies that will monetize it. Beware!

The only thing about those type of video doorbells is that you lose privacy and the cops can watch it. It’s best to have a closed circuit system not connected to the Internet.

Read Fahrenheit 451 Its like big brother lurking outside your front door. Who would not want that... you did not rat out your neighbor you're doorbell did. As a carpenter who has installed these I can say the quality is very poor. Cheep plastic parts held together with glue. disposable Chinese electronic devises that will lower the quality and reliability of your home. Those who would trade their freedom for security deserve neither.
