The white plastic plugs you put in where the transporter bolts were - it's not necessary to cut them as shown in the video. Leave them together and just close them = less loose parts.

I guess they have these bolts so the drum will not move /spin while you are carrying the machine.

The bolts are there to keep the drum protected and from banging around and getting damaged during transit. If you don’t remove them, your washer will start walking and violently slam into everything within a few feet. You should keep them after removal if you intend to keep your washer if you move. 😉

Under no circumstances should you advise anyone to tighten the inlet hose with anything else other than their hand. Hand tight should be sufficient.
