Blue connects to the white (neutral); red connects to black (Hot feed); brown continues out to your lamp and connects to the black (hot feed) there. Make sense? :)

You didn't show how to tell which wires in the box are coming from the light or coming from the panel and for some reason my wireless switch has four wires??

Can you use two switches to one light. Like I want to use it in the the stairway. Also can you get a wireless motion sensor to turn lights on and off?

Yes you can have more than one switch to one light. I have three to my light in the living room. Just purchase additional switches. They don't offer a wireleee motion sensor as far as I'm aware of.

Not the end of the world, but you should screw the ground into the metal box.

that would do absolutely nothing. Unless the box in grounded, him wiring the ground to the box is useless.

What is the working distance between the switch and the relay?

I guess about 100ft indoors. All depends on the material your house is made of and any other disturbance factors.

@@HubersRanch Thanks for the info. 100 ft is quite enough for me. I live in a wood house in Finland. I need to control the garage light in my main building. It is very cold in winter though.

You are not supposed to interrupt the Ground! That wiring is entirely wrong. You'll lack continuity, plus it it can shock under the right conditions! They sell wireless switches for U S and local code requirements with green wire!
