Hey man I'm new to your channel and just wanna say I really like your stuff. I just bought a 2019 392 scat, And thinking about getting an intake. I'm just curious did this one throw a check engine light for you at any point? And would you suggest it for the 2019? Keep up the good work.
AS far as looks YES it makes the engine bay look clean and mean with no CEL as far as power it some say yes and some no I think it does good compared to OEM myself though.
Keep in mind that in order to remove the filter element for cleaning or replacing the entire system has to be removed from the vehicle… There is no easy way to remove the filter element without having to remove the hose and element air box. Really is a flaw as I am concerned with this method…
I've heard people saying the stock airboxs are pretty good, CAI would even get the intake temperature higher than stock( like RPproductions), some people with mopar intake even.. Is the afe giving you a lower temperature?
Love RP a good friend of mine, the stock does do a great job but the aFe does an even better one at pumping fresh cool air into my engine. I also did notice the intake temps running cooler plus the performance gain! All the GT Momentum intakes I've sold end up with happy customers. 🙂
@@Hemifam I to think a "GOOD" cai will lower intake temps some but how much does it really gain power n tq wise..Unless your doin 100mph or more its not gonna present any worth while gains..There are a few diy air box mods that will give same as the $300-$400 cai for less than $50...
Their dyno sheet shows a significant gain across all RPMS although peak is 16HP and 15LBS XFT and I can honestly feel a pretty good gain it really woke the car up plus intake temps cooled off! 🙂
Debating on afe or air aid cold air intake for my srt8 Charger... is there good gains with the Charger? Since the hole is blocked, and where does the cold air come from since being blocked? Thanks!

great vid, never seen this intake before. The one thing that stuck out to me was the stud length on those hose clamps @.@ I'd be cutting those down... Also with WPD, that protective plastic cover removal was very satisfying lol.
Rasp sound from the exhaust or under the hood? You may just be hearing all the extra air being sucked into your manifold but check under the hood to be sure all the clamps are tight and nothing is loose.
definitely looks like a nice product. Actually in the market for a Charger, just not sure which route I wanna go SP, Daytona or SRT. HC is beast just isnt practical for me and my family. Great video!
Does this intake fit flush on the hole at the bottom ? I notice alil wiggle as you pushed down on it ? I tried ordering it and it stated that it does not fit a scat pack it only fit a daytona. Did you make a changes to make it fit

I have the same intake and recently bought an afe throttle body spacer for my 2018 scat pack charger and wasn't able to fit my intake properly. Is there any way you can make this work?

Man, you guys that put these videos up should know the nomenclature of all the parts and at least practice once so you don’t look like a dummy putting parts on that you don’t know the name of or what they’re for!!!!!
