Well but now the cockpit does not look as clean as it used to be. Only because some will use an aero extension. 😕 Would be nice to choose between this one and the one Alpecin is using.

Installation on the aerobar- as always. (Like Triathlon etc.)

You can attach a mount to the extensions. There are two more screws for a bracket. You can find the Canyon GEAR GROOVE Aero Extension Computer Mount on our homepage. This fits perfectly.

I'm not sure about the bar end shifters, but you can definitely install the SRAM wireless blip shifters

You can find the ''Canyon GEAR GROOVE Aero Extension'' on our global Canyon website. However, the Extension is not available for Canyon US yet. Make sure you are subscribed to our newsletter and you won't miss the start of sales. 😊

It's a handlebar specific extension, so it will most likely be added for the next update of the Ultimate if Canyon decides to still use th Gear Groove handlebar in the future.

Shouldn’t you hold the last bit on a torque wrench when tightening the bolt to specified torque? Even if you set the correct torque, holding it in the middle section won’t give you the desired result.

Is there any adjustability on the angle of the whole aero bars? I see the pros are riding it angled upwards quite a bit

Got one. Lost the base plate. Canyon wont sell spare parts. So that was 600 bucks......

It's a concept where you have something and then you no longer have it. In this case, in connection with taking down the bike, packing the bike, traveling away, putting the bike together, cycling, taking down the bike, packing the bike, traveling, coming home and base plate missing.
