*So amazingly quiet and **Fastly.Cool** in my room! 42db is at a whisper level. I bought 2 and installed myself.Very sturdy bracket and easy to adjust to fit windows of different size. Absolutely fabulous units!!*
How many screw are needed and what's the set out? Also does the window Association have any literature on window installation in Australia I can't find anything on the website?
Thanks blokes, what do you do for the 99% of aussie windows that don't come with integrated flashing? We've never seen them delivered with flashing before, unless our project manager just doesn't know how to order windows correctly?
@@ausglassandwindowassociation I understand that, just saying it never has been supplied. We just get left with the bare aluminium extrusion and told to 'just do ya best mate'. Have you got a document outlining how it should be detailed? I have seen how it's done in the states with various tapes and liquid applied flashings, but not how it should be done here to meet Australian standards. Your video shows it already done, I just want to know how that's achieved it supplied without flashings. What type we should use, how to install etc. Thanks.
You need a new window mob mate, every builder I've worked for has ordered windows and doors that come with the plastic jamb and sill flashing on, I've only ever had to install the aluminium head flashing.
@@ausglassandwindowassociation This doesn't answer the question? Interested to see what the experts suggest? Please don't pass the responsibility as you have in the above comment. Kenour has asked a direct question, maybe you could suggest a cross-section for onsite flashing and you would assume that he is also asking what to do when you have an aluminum window arrive without timber jamb?
