The poptop on a Crafter or Sprinter covers the usual fixing points of an awning making it a tricky addition. We recently used this hack to overcome this and be able to add an awning as well as a poptop to these vans.
It requires a different wall mounted awning and a few different components which are listed below:
- Vamoose combi rail
- Vamoose universal brackets
- Thule Omnistor 5200 3.15m long
