How do you decide how much of the liner overlaps the top edge. Too little and you have wrinkles on the side walls. Too much and it stretches the liner possibly too much.

My liner was cut short and has pulled through the clip-on rail causing the liner to open up at top and sag into pool. I do not know what to do and was thinking to use waterproof tape to fix since I can't make the liner longer.

Yes, it will be a little tougher to do but you can. Install 4 corners first (North, South, East to West) No particular order with that, than go around in the circle putting the rest of the liner material over the wall or in the receiver. Makes it easier if it’s a pattern to line up straight all the way around, and if it’s a overlap liner than its easier to get the same amount of overlap on the outside.
No were doing it with 2 people. Could use a third person. The top strip kept wanting to pop off, and were scrambling to have enuff hands to hold the liner on.

An overlap liner typically has a standard overlap of 6 to 12 inches over the pool wall. This extra material helps secure the liner in place and prevents it from shifting. I have a 30ft round 54" deep Jacuzzi pool and want to install an expandable liner next year. my current liner is 14 years old and has divets and lumps and misc weird misplaced sand over the years not to mention some leaks that I still can't find. I've always wanted it deeper, so I thought the expandable liner would be the way to go. any suggestions?
Yes, what we would want you to do is some simple measuring so we could order the liner. First to make sure pool is in the round measure across pool inside wall to inside wall, do two of these measurements like in a plus sign. Then would be to let us know how deep you are going to make the center. Give us a call at 1.800.356.3025 for a quote. Thanks
