When you install latest Azure ad connect released on august 15/07/2024.you will have to enable TLS 1.2 . otherwise it will throw an error .
Error : “Ad connect sync does not work” : TLs 1.2 To enabled .
•Before proceeding, ensure that TLS 1.2 is enabled on the server, as it is a requirement for the latest version: Microsoft Entra Connect: TLS 1.2 enforcement for Microsoft Entra Connect - Microsoft Entra ID | Microsoft Learn
