Corp, a quick question from a (former) fellow member of the E4 mafia: Can i just switch my old hard-drive into another computer and run it as the C drive?
Hey so I have a dead hard drive issue, if I install a new HDD into my XPS 8900 can I upload the data from my old disc to the new disc still or is all the data from the old disc just lost, or should I just put the disc in a new hard drive?!?! Help me out I’m a broke college student and I don’t wanna take my PC to the repair shop and pay insane amounts of money !!
Hmmm, honestly I'm not sure. I don't know how bad your hard drive is damaged or if you could even still clone it. You'll have to ask someone more computer savvy than I. Good luck, dude!
If you want, I am writing to give you the options of my DELL 8900 BIOS which prevents windows from starting if my new Western Digital 10TB HD is connected. If necessary I take pictures of my BIOS options and compare with your BIOS , it this possible ? DELL is not able to give me a reponse
