McNaughton-McKay’s Automation Specialist, Chad Wagner, shows you the steps necessary to download, install and use the ControlFLASH™ Plus firmware tool to monitor and flash firmware on Rockwell Automation devices. You will be directed to the Rockwell Automation Product Compatibility and Download Center where the software can be downloaded and installed. Once installed, you will see how to browse for hardware on the network, verify and load firmware, and how to automatically maintain your firmware library. Hi I recently changed out a 755 PF from FW 12 to 14. Now I can’t seem to download from offline file to to the new drive. I can connect to it but also can’t copy from HIM to Drive copycat function?

Hi Daniel, please verify that you are connected and communicating with the device you are trying to flash, and that the computer you are using has an established internet connection. The drop down list of firmware should populate from Rockwell Automation’s Compatibility and Download Center. If the problem persists, we recommend reaching out to your local Rockwell Automation distributor for personalized support.

I'm trying to download 1756-L81ES firmware, but could not download it :( It says EULA :(

Hello, The EULA error likely pertains to a Rockwell agreement. CF Plus is a free software so it seems like there’s an issue when importing the firmware from the Rockwell Automation site within ControlFlash Plus. To get around this, you can use the downloads page to search for the 1756-L81ES firmware you want and manually flash it. Also you can check through the account to see if there are any agreements that were missed. Hi Chad. I can't donwload none firmware version for a Compact Logix 1769-L30ER controller from the Rockwell web site. When I try to download appears the following: "Not all items are available for download at this time. Some items need further review. An email will be sent to you when you can access your pending downloads." They sent me an email with the pendiend download, but again I cant download. Do you know what happend ? THANKS IN ADVANCED.

Hi Damian, To download Rockwell Automation software, firmware, and other files, please visit Rockwell Automation’s Compatibility and Download Center: compatibility.rockwellautomation.com/Pages/home.aspx Sign in with your Rockwell Automation account and search by product. Firmware options should be available from there. Please contact your local Rockwell Automation distributor for further support if you continue to experience issues. locator.rockwellautomation.com/
