Maybe 6 months from now the RG35XX+ will have a good Batocera build, but for now the emulators and settings are not set correctly, and they are not using the hardware as best as they can. Its a step in the right direction, but not the beautiful and fully functional replacement we want it to be. Yet.

even after I put bios into the share\bios folder for gba and ps1, still says missing bios HELP!

look for the updated bios in github libretro or batocera bios repos. sorry I can't give links to it, you have to research for it

@Petiksmode having the exact same issue. I have the updated bios files and the device is still saying they're missing. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

@@onedays104 Just ignore bios check in the settings. The bios is there, and you can confirm this by turning the boot logo on, and seeing the GBA and ps1 startup logo before a game starts.

My share file does not want to pop up and everything looks right in partition does not having a F: in front of share have something to do with it?

The partition is irrelevant when using 2 cards, correct? Also I dont know why everyone recommends getting a 64+128 if batocera only takes up 1gb

you no longer need the 2nd card. the SHARE partition from TF1 will be used for roms and bios. BATOCERA partition will just have the system OS files

Okay so I downloaded the img flashed it to my sd card , now the device doesn’t boot up at all what did I do Wrong !?!? >:(

If you are using the cheap sd card that comes with the console try all the steps again. This happens less often with branded sd cards.

I tried this system and it drains the battery twice as fast without standby mode

yeah that's the downside. you will have to shutdown also after you play because standby will also drain battery. I still prefer Garlic OS tbh but it's not available yet on this device 🥹 this is a good "eyecandy" OS for me but would prefer Garlic OS if it's available.

Actually I'm not sure if the OS actually drained the battery or did the battery reading wrong. I realized this by having the battery at 1% yet still gaming for almost 3hrs more.

It looks lovely , however the downside is Drains Battery very quickly, Dreamcast and N64 is very poor .

yes. there is mac version of etcher. although you have to look for minipartitiontool alternative if you want to resize sd card. but for my sake I didn't have to resize it

InhVe to agree, while it’s feature rich, it drains power like mad, has power reporting issues and overall does everything it can to get between you and gaming.

@@MrTomemac i just bought anbernic rg35xx h. i guess i will use the newest update of its genuine UI then StockUI isnt it?

@@drwps. Yah it has the least hiccups, it is basic but gets the job done for sure. No problems with HDMI to the TV or BT controllers unlike a lot of these eye candy CFWs, imo they aint so great.
