Its finally here an install video for the Bestop Trektop Ultra for jeep jl wrangler. This top supplies the easy up down motion of your factory top with the aggressive slant back look of the traditional trek top. This design completely transforms the look of your jeep as well as gives you extreme function in the summer months for ease of the convertible use.This install took about an afternoons worth of time with taking filming into account all together it was a very straight forward install that i recommend anyone can do. This went on my buddies jeep but if you want to order the link will be below. This in my opinion is the best soft top for the Jl wrangler.

Thanks for the video, it helped a lot. I think you skipped step 3 on page 23 of the instructions (installing the sheet metal screw. Not sure why the instructions have you install the Stiffener Clips (hooks) onto the side window assemblies then set them aside. Seems like that step should come after the top is installed. Not a hard job at all and it can easily be done by one person (I did).

My husband did mine this weekend. I have the supertop and I have to say the JKU was a lot easier to install. How did you pull out the tension cable?

Waiting for this top to be available for the 2 door. The one they have now doesn't fold back, so I'm impatiently waiting, LOL. Good step by step, bro!

Hi buddy great job question for you please 1. Which battery r u using with this ratchet?2. Did you tilt your back seat they not look normal to me … looks like they r tilted

Seats are normal and it’s whatever battery that came with it haha it’s a budget brand electric rachet

It’s held up great looks like new and he takes it off every winter for the hard too and it stays on all summer

Roughly 4 hours taking our time and filming a lot of that is setting up parts that come not fully assembled like the frame of the soft top

braap life honestly we wernt sure how the track popped out we just put it back and it never happened again it was very odd it probably never seated properly is my guess

Got some questions. hi, I began to install my new Ultra JL top and when I went to lock the latches the driver side wasn't a problem but the passenger side one I couldn't even get too. I put everything into trying to get it to latch but it was soooooooo hard as if someone was holding one end of the rope on your right side and it wouldnt budge. When pushing the top back into the sun rider position. The left side is easy but the right side passenger doesn’t want to move and bows the attempt. Why is this happening? When top is fully to the spare tire should it be blocking my rear view mirror viewing? As mine does. How high is the top supposed to sit when in sun rider position from top of roll bars? Mine seems to sit high where I can’t get out of the garage

Without seeing the top i cant begins to try and diagnose why it’s difficult to move my guess is something is stuck in the mechanism creating resistance or tention as for how it sits. Yes it will block your rear view and in sunrider i havent measured it however it is not flush and will Definitly add a few inches to the height of your jeep

I just installed mine and I had a lot of problems installing the windows on it. Is there a trick to getting them on?

K. L. Can you be more specific??? We’re they just to tight? If that’s it leave them out in the sun and let them heat up or if you have bad weather run your jeep with the heat on max to get some more give in the fabric

Task Force Offroad it was very tight. We took a heat gun just to heat them up. Finally we got them on. Nothing like your video... lol

K. L. Sorry to hear that but believe it or not we did nothing more then let them sit in the sun for the length of the install and i definitely still had to use some elbow greese to get them in glad you got them on though hope your enjoying it!
