The part I really needed to see was blocked by your back and your camera man did not try to help. I think you know what you are doing but I couldn't take away anything unfortunately
My hinges came loose...... I can't reconnect them to the inside hinge. You just attach the clips to them when they are out of the cabinet. How the heck do you do it when they are hung!
my l susan has a door that swings in. It is a part of the shelf. Can I adapt and use this door? it is much better. Plus, the door that swings in with the shelf, does not close well. Has a huge opening.
Rev a shelf sells the wall lazy susan hardware. The lazy susans are designed to be installed after the cabinet is already in place on the wall. They sell lot sof sizes of lazy susan trays, so just remember that the hinges will decrease the opening a bit due to the thickness of the hinge itself.
Good demo. In the video it says you CAN adjust in/out up/down. Is there a video on how to adjust? Good to know you CAN adjust... far more valuable to know HOW to adjust.
Why is there no instructions on adjusting the #Blum hinges in the video or on your website? Like you mention in the video, there are many available adjustments, and it would help to know what does what.
I want to replace many pieces of furniture drawers with the kind that you press on either side and the swivel open. But I don't know what this is called I heard it cold butterfly drawer or semi circle drawer especially things for nightstand where it's not very comfortable pulling out a drawer and also mean you're standing right in front of your nightstand and not in your bed then it's easy to pull out but the reason why I love these drawers is because they have an appeal to me for so many reasons. And all I keep running into all these Corner jobs. I was hoping you could tell me as I'm not a carpenter anything like that any help with that. Because I really wanted to some really beautiful Furniture I picked up that has great bones and a lot of drawers and it would look so beautiful and maple. But just start a completely cheap Ikea wood don't worry about that I just would love if you could point me in the right direction so that I would know what they're called what I need to get on a budget of course to take out the typical pull-out drawer or fashion it into the kind of drawer I'm looking for which is basically doesn't have enough you just put a little pressure on the left give a little push or to the right I would be so appreciative. My dad would know but he died. and if he can offer any more cool interesting things like that thank you so very much.
Hi! Great job explaining things. I need to put a lazy susan in a existing counter top corner. So would we just cut out the whole corner of the old doors and frame part? That old corner is so USELESS!! Is one able to jimmy those shelves and the lazy susan parts into the corner?? Or have you ever done that before? Thanks for your help in advance!
I have something like one of these but it fell off, and im at a complete loss on how to fix it. There's kinda a female and male end to it, but nothing to solidify the attachment. So I just kinda force it together and shut it, and of course it comes detached every time I open the drawer. Is there a tutorial for different hinges with the same idea? Because I I have this exact same setup, but I cant seem to find a way to fix it as the hinges are very different from what you show here.
Oh! That's great to hear! We certainly don't want to have to tear the countertop off!! lol I will see if I can find their site right now! Thank you so much for your help~
In my experience it's Impossible to find a replacement screw, and the doors won't fit without it! The one I lost was apparently a type of set-screw called a 'Euro Screw'. I bought 2 different hinges and they weren't going to work to reinstall the corner cabinet (after I had removed them to paint them). Then I dusted under my fridge and Presto! there was the screw! Going to try once more to reinstall the folding doors.
Purple 911 - that’s not true. I can have a very small hole into which a bigger screw can be attached. Ask IKEA if they have issues with pre-drilling their millions of doors they sell every year.
Sigh.... If you wanted to use different hardware, hinges, etc.....they dont pre-drill. And they probably figure whoever is screwing them in isnt retarded or lazy and can manage that on their own.
