The wife and I just moved into our forever home and it had no blinds since it was a custom build. I orders my blinds and while we were waiting for them I got prices for install on hanging them ($100 per blind) so while we were waiting on our blinds for delivery i decided to look on you tube and ran across your site on how to install the blinds I had ordered. I found your video simple and easy to understand and the install process seems easy enough for me due to your easy to follow instructions. Nice job. Thank you. I'll just add a tip that you can use or not. My husband always uses the frog tape to tape a Dixie cup where he drills & it catches any sawdust mess. He's been doing it for years (we've been married over 42 years). Our home had the minimum 4-shelf closets everywhere. He added many shelves for me & I now have over 7 shelves in my main hall closet. He pulled the original four, filled the holes & drilled for the 7 where I wanted them. He got a Dixie cup half full of sawdust from all of the drilling.

You can do this Candace! You will save hundreds and most retailers will have a 1800 support number. My dad is a retired carpenter and the talent for fixing things skipped me - I got the good looks math instead (lol), but I was able to get mine done by just keeping it simple. Thank you for watching and sharing! The tape serves two purposes. 1. It holds that light weight bracket in place so you can use two hands to drive the screw. 2. If you tape both brackets in place and take a step back to look at at their placement... It qualms some of the fears from "the unknown". After the first one is in place you really don't even need the tape and it makes everything else super easy.

It does come in handy. If you're doing a whole bunch of windows that are the same size you don't really have to mock-up the full set of blinds in every window. You only have to do that for the first one to ensure a proper fit. After the initial verification you just have to tape up the brackets and can pump out a number of windows super fast. It really is easy. I hope this does help. For the first one you'll use the tape... After the second one you'll be good to go. It's all about overcoming the mental blocks which make the process look more difficult than what they actually are.

Many thanks for this video! Excellent explanations and very well done. You saved me hours of frustration today. This afternoon I attempted to hang blinds using the holes that are on top of the bracket (and according the Levelor's instructions). I paid no attention to the holes on the side of the bracket (as shown in your video) for easier installation. I could not get the screws to go in straight nor get the drill to fit in the corner of the window. I'm embarrassed to say my common sense gave out.
