Thank you so much for posting this amazing video!! Seriously, I was determined to put it up by myself. After opening it and reading instructions I thought I'm in trouble here. So, I'm grabbing my phone and asked Google to show me a video on how to put together a Better Homes & Gardens 2 inch window blind!! Your video was the first to show and I can now proudly say I installed my blinds by myself!! Of course, I'm keeping your video and the two of you guys my little secret. Celebrate the little things, right!! Lol Happy Easter to anybody reading this. Thanks again, greatly appreciate you taking them time to post.
your videos are great! Please continue to do videos without rehearsal. When you hit a snag in whatever home improvement project you're doing, i can guarantee that most of your viewing audience will appreciate the added instruction. Awesome video!!
Thanks to y’all, our blind installation was much better than it would ha e been with the word-free instructions we got with the blinds. Thanks so much for putting things in simple, easy to follow instructions! Loved that the parts were the same for the blinds we were installing, so it made it super easy to just follow what you did. We greatly appreciate it!
Hello, I too can’t thank you enough for this excellent video! I’m presently in the middle of 2 home renovations, and what can go wrong has gone wrong with the licensed professionals. So with the blinds for my house, I was determined to do it myself, with the help of my DIY RU-vidrs of course! Well I got home @ 12:30 am and decided to just watch one video before bed. Your video came up and your directions were so clear, I grabbed one box of blinds and just followed along with you two “Righteous Losers”😂! Even the 2 inch marking for the mounting plate was a charm! Well, following your video, I managed to install 4 blinds and now I am excited about installing the blinds for the rest of my house….tomorrow that is. So again, thanks for posting this video, I’m looking forward to browsing your channel for other helpful video.
An year later, this video still came in really handy and helped me install the blinds. Thank you so much guys. Your instructions were more clear and easy to follow than manual and I finished my installation (for the very first time) in 27 mins :) Kudos.
Thank you GREAT video!!!! Installing ours now. We loved when your son called for ya...we have 5 sons and that made your video soooooooo real. We loved it. Again, thank you!
Thank you so much for being very detailed.... Helped out a lot and i just finished install my blinds, if I hadn't found your page I wouldn't open it finished putting up my blinds, I did a good job thanks to you guys!!! thanks again
You are very smart and the guy your partner is really good and smart too!!! Thank you for the video. When I opened the box I was overwhelmed, but you gave me hope, and boom!!! I installed with your video instructions
Thanks for the kind words! Not everyone likes the commentary between the 2 of us. We’ve been married partners for more than 30 years. He tolerates me well =)
I wish I could of watched this fully but it literally gave me severe motion sickness. Just mentioning it to help raise awareness for people with movement sensitivity
You helped me out a lot lol. At first I tried then I said forget it I’ll ask my step father. But after watching this I gave it a try ( for the second time ) and I did it.
Thank you. I have some blinds to install and it always helps to watch somebody do it first. Sometimes I appreciate the pro's experience and knowledge but in this case, I appreciate the DIY experience since that is my level of experience (zero) with these things.
Uh oh. If you have cordless blinds, you pull on the bottom bar and they come down. I made a video about raising and lowering them. I’m not sure if it’ll help you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wvf5AxRcbk8.html
Hi, at 7:58, you are drilling into wood. But in my case, I have drywall only, so what should I do? Are anchors going to solve the problem? Thank you for the video.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video! We have four blinds to install while dealing with our house that feels as if it's upside down, inside out and generally a huge mess
You can lift the bottom bar to raise the whole thing (like regular blinds with pull cords); you can also slant or angle the slats. I did notice that larger/wider blinds are heavier and more difficult to raise up. Hope that helps!
@@fixthishouse3303 the instruction doesn't tell me how to install the lifting part. What do I do with the holes on each blind? Instruction says don't cut the lifting cable at the bottom but mine doesn't have it..it just hollow holes at the bottle slab
@@fixthishouse3303 We dont usually lift it up..we just tilt it and that's it. what do the hole on each board for? am I supposed to get the main line into each hole(3 holes on each board)
Hey thanks for the video! Turns out I had the brackets in backwards.. The rest of the blinds I installed went smoothly. They look so much better than the old ones. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this video! My husband and I were so confused with the instructions that came in the box. This was our first time installing blinds and following along with this video made it super quick and easy
