Please note I make gameplay videos, yes I might do another tutorial very soon but might not be frequent so please do not subscribe if you expect more content like this especially frequently!
Update as of September 14, 2023:
Researching more, The servers are still up but Xlabs will no longer update the game which might cause massive malicious security issues, so I would suggest using bot warfare! now I received from Cracked_Fl (thanks!) that it works great for mw3. Yes, I am planning on making a sequel to this video, not an updated video, a sequel this time on how to install bot warfare for both mw2 & mw3, please note that this video might take some time till I am able to fully produce and upload it so please be patient, thank you! while you are here I recommend you watch other creators who have also made gameplay/tutorial videos on bot warfare!
Update as of August 19, 2023:
IW4X has been ceased and desisted by Activision, their website has been shut down and I'm going to guess their servers as well, and if you still have iW4X installed or installed it somewhere else (be careful it might be malicious). Please note I do not actually know if you can still play IW4X, especially multiplayer, I do not have IW4X installed and haven't played in over a year now. If I am somehow able to get IW4X, I will try to make an updated 2023 video, please note this video might be outdated, thank you and thank you to Xlabs for iw4x.
I have updated the thumbnail and also added subtitles for Spanish, Russian as well as English.

Hey guys if it doesnt work put the mods folder directly into your call of duty mw2 folder instead of iw4x folder that might help

Here is a FAQ before you comment, your question might be here: Q:I dont see bots when i launch the game A: You will have to open the secondary inventory menu key (which is default binded to "5") then select manage bot and add bots (under 11 bots, check the next q&a) Q: I have a lot of stuttering when adding 11 or 17 bots. Have any fix? A: Unfortunately no, other players have already reported this and have experienced it myself, I recommend playing under 11 bots instead. ive got it all downloaded an iw4x working but no servers ive got all the waypoint files for the bots saved in the proper place but i cant get the actual bot part to work at all i try to even do as you do with the notepad and the saving as file but it wont let me add it i guess or idek. im so close to playing after years and then this shutdown happend made me sad but bots are good enough for me if i can ever get it to work

the mod shows its working. I can hit the secondary button and my screen goes blurry but none of the options for the bots menu shows up.

Have you tried hitting it again? If so try re-installing the mod Otherwise install an older version of bot warfare.

Thanks for the help man, but I tried opening up the secondary inventory menu and nothing came up. Any Idea on how to fix this? Also my boys spawn and they just shoot stuff in circles lmao at least they spawn

Hi... im pretty sure bots can't spawn unless you open up the secondary inventory menu and select how many bots you want in the map Well anyways, did you forget to install the waypoints? first time I tried using the bot warfare mod, I forgot to install the waypoints and wasn't able to get the inventory menu up. If it isn't that, you might have to re-download or download an older version of bot warfare, hope that helps.

@@miguelsgamingch Earlier in the day I have finally made the bot mod work. Later on, when I came back to play some more, a new issue came up: Some maps, like Bloc, have a weird red graphical glitch that covers 90% of the screen; If I do launch the bots on that map, or other maps, I'm geting this message: « AimTarget_GetTagPos: Cannot find tag [j_head] on entity » I even had a « directx has encountered an unrecoverable error » Curiously, after figuring out how to play against bots, I never had these issues, until later on in the day. And, yes, even after using the "iw4x repair guide", the mentioned issues, among others, keep persisting Does IW4X have to be so problematic?

I did, still the same thing. I ended up looking for any older version of Bot Warfare on the internet, found 1 but I still don't get why the latest updated version from Moddb doesn't work

Hi, @gaston roviglio rocha, this is a known issue, there's an issue in GitHub about it, no help there, I just recommend to play below 11 bots

Hi, did you mean the mods folder? If not you should put your bots folder to the mods folder not the roots folder

in the IW4X folder? then create a mods folder, if its in the menu make sure you put it on the right place.

@@miguelsgamingch Hey i´ve got the same problem. i installed the bot warfare 2.1.0 as you showed. but if i hit the menue botton nothing happens. i thought maybe an older version of the mod would work. but same problem. What do you need for details?

@@00alman Yes, please try an older version, some of the other people just installed an older version and it usually work.

@@00alman I'd try everything, did you install it on the proper folders, did you forget about the waypoint files, etc
