What size custom heavy burnproof are you using for the this suppressor. I really don’t want to have to pay the extra $50 for the custom sizing. Can you get away with at 6.5in cover?
In the first part of the video, it was a 7" heavy, which was a bit too long. We switched to a 6.75" custom heavy and that's what you see at the end, installed perfectly.
@Burnproofgear hey, thanks for the info. I've ordered the custom size. But the 6.5 worked very well at last night's night vision class even with the tip slightly exposed. You guys make great gear!
@@kamikazelyricist1563so you just ordered the standard size heavy large? I agree the extra $50 and custom wait times pretty annoying, idc if a small amount is exposed
They make you think that you can remove the surefire device but you cannot. I had a warden and couldn't get it off. If you contact them, they'll tell you that it's made for serious users that keep their "can" on the gun. Lol
@@bongthepanda if you don’t wrap the cover around the QD, the chance of the cover flying off is really high. We understand how this can be a bit inconvenient but we didn’t design the suppressor, only trying to offer a solution to burns that won’t get shot off mid range session.
Step 1 should have been make sure the firearm is unloaded. Additionally, I wish the video was a little brighter and included a close up of the muzzle overlap of the inner liner.
We were recording for a few days by this point. It had been checked in the morning and checked clear every time it got picked up (as you should do always, anyways). We try to keep the install videos close to 2 minutes long, otherwise it gets a bit boring. The FR Sleeving should be cut just short of flush with the ends, just like the video states.
