@Khmer Ohio I'm installing a sub and amp on a 2015 impala, old body style. I was going to hook my remote wire to the factory amp on the red and white battery positive. But my amp stays on and hums when I did it that way. Any other spot in the rear for the remote wire?
2015 impala ltz. W Bose audio . Tapped Into left an right rear . Used the power off the LOC2 for the remote . Takes a good minute to shut off any after power is off, debating just running remote off one of aux plug
@@khmerohio i huck up my system on my impala but i have the buzzing bass noise when i close the door and when i open the door it goes away u think by cutting the purple wire it will fix it?
Sorry if this has been asked before...but what did you connect the remote wire for your new amp to? I have a 2015 LT and I tapped into the rear cigg but I'm having a power leak. Also, the stock subs are the in the front doors not the rear. Thank bro
Thanks for the vid! I have the same exact vehicle and installed it per your instructions and everything works perfectly!!! My only question is because of the included remote wire, does that mean my amp will constantly be powered? Don't want to kill my battery if that's the case. Also, my subs randomly "boom" even though the vehicle is off. Any suggestions??
Got a question, I have the same car year and model but not sure if that one is a LTZ well the question is I don’t see the anc connection in the amp I see the plug and some wires but it looks very different from the ones in the video I can shoot some picks so u can see for your self
Ok I got the same car and hooked everything up the same way you did but for some reason everytime I start my car I get the subs that go with the charging system turning on like the radio is on and it’s not but they will throw bass out of them from low to high. Please tell me a song for this cause it’s driving me crazy! The only thing I didn’t cut was the purple and pink wire cause my son said that runs my microphones in the front so please I need your advice!
@@chilzzz01 I followed your video and cut it. Let me ask you another question, I hooked up a kicker rca convertor but it runs the remote wire to the amp from it. Well the issue I’m having is my amp stays on a little bit after the car is off and when it shuts off it makes a loud bass sound so do you have a different way I could run the remote wire for now ?
Hey man, so my schematics are down and I've got a 19 impala LT at my place right now. Was wondering in a non-bose unit, what color plug ANC wires were in and what pin number if you could help me out. That would be awesome. I'm having some issues with my install. Thank you in advance. Love the content!
@@kadancekretzschmar9792 I have an the LTZ series and in the trunk there’s an amp. If you have the lt or so series I think yo can tap into the wires from behind the glove box. ( I’m not an expert btw 😂😂)
Why did you pull signal from only left side? Why not both sides? Could also pull power and ground for LOC from amp constant power. Signal wires should tell LOC when to send signal for activate. Will a 2017 have the ANC?
Check to see if you have amplifier right side of trunk. It's easy to run one side because I don't think anyone is going to fade their radio to only one side
Installed hi-lo converter in 2017 impala. Followed your vid with speakers wire with factory wire connection In trunk. But when I turn vehicle off the amp still has running power to amplifier and does a bass humming
did you ever get an answer? I have the same problem on my 2014 ltz that I installed today. I think I'm just going to run the remote wire that came with my kit and not use the remote wire from the loc
I know everyone is asking this but is there an anc in an Lt model, I'm not seeing it on diagrams or in person, but the louder the mucic goes the less bass i have
If u don't think the anc is countering the bass frequency then I'm gonna guess my the amp is bad, the converter is new but i don't recall the brand name. When i was adjusting the gain it cut out but not like protect mode, i was turning it down then i tapped it with the screw driver and it came back and didn't happen again. That's my though process anyways lol the amp is like 15yrs old now
@@khmerohio thanks. Best video I’ve seen for my car. Going to add two 6x9 to rear deck with small two channel amp. The rear speaker wires I’m going to tap onto should be ok for the signal?
@@khmerohio i got a kit from best buy for like $109 has everything truconnect 4AWG 1400w max power rating. I'm running two 10 inch kicker comp R with a 1600w pioneer tru connex TC-Loc2 . 2019 impala premier
What is the name of the LOC? Let's find out why no bass first .. check the back of your subwoofer see any loose connection .. are you for sure your amplifier works? It could have a blown channel
I have this same problem. All brand nee components. I even got a signal booster. It just won't bump either. Only thing I haven't done is clip the anc wire. Gonna try that this weekend but I see people commenting that that wire don't even exist. I'm doing a 2014 impala ltz
