@@Nessamoniiqueee they are really not. I believe sewing is safer. I did clip-ins over a long period of time (weeks) and the tension of the combs pulls your hair out. I've done sew-ins over a long period of time and have had substantial hair growth. My hair went from shoulder length to mid-back length with sew-ins. I literally had bald spots with clip-ins. I guess they're ok for occasional use but not for consistent use

Great job. now I know those tiny combs are sooo tight that it must hurt you sometimes...that's y scalp itches too,from the friction. I hope that you are able to massage scalp for a while after you take out hair. It helps with tea tree oil, 🌹 rose absolute oils,jojoba oils, lavender oils. Just mix the essential oils into olive oil in a small tip applicator bottle,found at hair,skin, nails ,stores. I'm in NYC ,so I don't know what they're called in UK. Much love from NYC. Jan 22,2019. 30°F. 22:41time here.

I came across this video because people have been saying this technique is new but I've been putting clip ins over my braids for a (full weave look) for over ten years I just didn't post it on youtube. I taught the women in my family this so they know its not new.

I wear upart wigs that I clip in && it thins my hair and leaves bald spots :( Any tips? I love clip ins, it's so easy

+brittanybanksss yes a lot of people have that issue. what I do is braid parts of my hair like she did (but not all of it) and put the clips on my braid as an anchor. I never have thinning problems. but then again I only wear clips for about a week at a time then I switch to either braids or just wearing my natural hair.

+brittanybanksss if your hair is relaxed I wouldn't recommend hair clip ins you would probably be better off with a saw in or a front.

I'm relaxed and I do just this, or a variant of this and I have no thinning issues. Don't be too rough with clips on the braids...I mean it's still your hair in the braids. Any unnecessary tugging is on your hair.

You should keep this method just leave out some hair to cover the front and you won't need to sew it

Safyah Khater I agree about her having some leave out but these comments I'm reading are so damn rude, if people don't like the way she's doing it they don't have to watch, everybody applies extensions however they feel, but I wouldn't sew any closure I would just have leave out but that's my preference....

+Tracy Smith if you can't cornrow go to the hairdressers and ask if they can cornrow it for you. I wouldn't recommend clipping it on to braids. x

Hi, I really enjoyed watching this video. But I wanted to know where did you buy the clips from (hair store, sally's beauty supply store, online? I read a earlier post that you added the clips on to the hair, I thought it came with the hair. Why does everyone keep telling this girl what she “should” do???🤨 if she wanted a fuckin wig she would’ve did a wig tutorial... if she wanted a sew in she would’ve did a sew in tutorial.... everything is not for everybody! Just because you like something doesn’t mean everybody else does! I wear wigs and weaves and this is such a safer, fastest method.
