Yes , seagate and wd enterprise series hdd you can use in server , but you need to add caddy(bracket) on hdd then you can fix in server. But hpe can deny the warranty claim request of the server if they found 3rd party part installed in the server. So if any warranty issue comes, then remove hdd from the server, then send it to the service centre or call hpe on site.
