They really should make system fonts change an option, one thing I missed about Android is the ability to Change fonts. It sucks. You’d think apple would have this option by now.
Yes I am disappointed.....honestly the only reason why I miss Android because I was able to decorate my whole phone.....I usually make my own Lockscreens and Wallpapers so when I heard about font’s I got really excited but quickly found that it wasn’t for the entire phone 😒👎🏻.....also can you please make a video explaining how to make shortcuts for Siri specifically using Spotify
This is the reason I may go back to Android, I want to customize my phone. Apple shouldn't decide our font once we have the phone clean or fun fo ts why do they care
To the people complaining that you can’t use fonts everywhere within iOS, it’s important you know that fonts for iPhone are specially designed for the purpose of being rendered on screen at small sizes. Every single letter has been been engineered so that it’s details are understood and not a fuzzy, illegible mess. That process is called hinting; it’s a very expensive, time-consuming process. 99% of the worlds fonts are for printed text rather mobile interfaces or small screens. Also, fonts like other computer software can be malformed or corrupted to where an application or entire device cannot work! You don’t want just any font as your interface font; such an important font needs to be properly vetted by the manufacturer. Lastly an interface font must have an expanded character set to render other languages besides American English, which Apple has taken great care in delivering in iOS.
You don’t need to use it if you don’t want to. It would probably take quite a bit of effort to download and install a font, so people who want to do that would probably have a good reason.
What a bogus and laborious excuse,yet fonts work flawlessly on android or the fonts in Android didn’t come from the era of typewriter you are talking about ?
It is good that you can’t change the system font because people will start using shit fonts like comic sans (like people on android do) and it would break the good UI of iOS. The system font is good, don’t need to change it

My fonts don’t appear on the keyboard. In other font apps you add a new keyboard called fonts after you download them. That hasn’t worked either. I must be missing something.
Melody Carlisle you’re not really missing anything, it’s just a bit confusing - there are font apps for installing fonts on the phone (to be used in limited apps) and font keyboard apps (which you can use in iMessage and/or social media and pop up on your keyboard list). Check out 03:33, the fonts discussed in this video are for use in other applications, unfortunately not keyboard (yet!). Hope that helps! PS if you’re looking for a font keyboard instead, I’d recommend TouchPal. 😊
Font Diner has been installed in both I pad and Iphone 11 and it shows up when I go to General the Fonts but when I go to my mailbox and go to the Various Available fonts, the Font Diner Fonts are NOT AVAILABLE. 13.1.2 has been installed on both.
After I tried to use this app ("Font Diner") for "enabling" the fonts that it provided, something has been observed. 1. Uninstall this app will make the installed fonts be removed together, which makes me think of the second point 2. iOS doesn't allow us to install font at this stage, it might because of both copyright and business reasons, it brings the copyright issue to the app developer, such as Adobe, since they might offer custom fonts that used through their apps while installing font profile is belonging to the same reason. Besides, there are some iOS Shortcuts for changing the certain typeface inside the Safari browser, for one page each time. It used the script (JavaScript) to modify the appearance of the content and defined some existing font for use such as Bradley Hand or Marker Felt.
Thanks, this was very helpful. My takeaway is that few apps can use the Fonts feature right now but more will in the future. Apple wasn’t very informative on this point.
