The app stays open for 3-5 minutes, then it closes on its own. The screen remains on with the last image like a screenshot, but I can't use it. I reopen the app, and everything works fine. How can I prevent the app from closing?

The same thing happens here after two years of using it without problems, Display Link Manager started closing and still no solution.

What solution do you have when the driver install fails? Have tried numerous times today with both hanging installs and FAILED messages. I can't do any of the later steps if I can't get beyond steps 9 or 10. Very frustrating. Mac M1 Studio Max, Ventura 13.6.1

Why do you need DisplayLink? Shouldn’t M1 Max be able to handle 2 screens?

@@jinraigami3349 I gave up on Display Link - sent it back - and am using a CalDigit powered dock instead and it works without drivers, and out of the box. It was more expensive but worth paying the extra for the fact it works. 😂 yup, I thought the studio max would have enough ports - but constant GAS and the acquisition of numerous ‘necessary’ A/V tools meant I ran out of room!

@@TheDeliveryDoctor I have the CalDigit TS4 and a 13" macbook pro with m1 chip. How did you get the CalDigit to connect to multiple screens?

@@johnpathak4447 hi John. I just connected the two Dell 32” monitors to the USB ports on the back of the CalDigit. CalDigit was then connected to USB port on back of the Studio Max. Worked out of the box.
