Not to mention, old drivers can cause unexpected issues, like the entire computer locking up every now and then. And stay safe. Never update your driver while drunk.

One thing it forgot to say: Know the model of the device you're trying to find a driver for. Its usually on a sticker somewhere. Like the back of the bottom of the device.(or the box.)

It's such a shame that you stopped making videos for this channel immediately after making this masterpiece. I would have loved more of this.

I REALLY appreciate the time taken to edit this production! The use of different photographical shots (and diversity!) PLUS text captions make it an easy watch!!! (I notice this because today I tried an "online course" and the video tutorials were purely a woman rambling as she pointed the camera at wires for 6 minutes straight. Not that her voice was boring, but it wasn't engaging visually!)

Yup pretty reasonable. Now depending on the OS for old devices there may be 'generic' drivers that will restore functionality or you might be able to force a driver install of a compatible driver. However, this is getting deep into "If you don't know how to do this you probably shouldn't be doing it" territory. Still, there are forums around for most operating systems, and you might be able to get some help in this area. Failing that you might have to write a driver yourself (this is how drivers get written for Linux for example) but of course, this is getting quite advanced. If the device you own is expensive enough to justify it however you might be able to hire someone to do this very task (think about giving the driver back to the community if you do - it will save the next person stuck in your shoes this task). Still; these are all well into "technical skill required" area. You have to weigh up the cost of your time vs the benefit; unless the device you have is costly to replace usually just upgrading to something that is supported is your best bet.

This is new, and I am ok with it, I also enjoyed the old way. Do what you need to do, and enjoy it!

I apprechiate the production, but the format just didn't fit the content...

What is going on? It's like a weird early 90's educational PSA but the tone is all over the place and the pauses in between the different shots and scenes were way too long.

While I enjoyed the information given in this video I did not enjoy the format in which it was given. Can you please go back to your older ways of sharing information with us? I know you likely had fun making the video this way but the format was jarring and difficult to watch, the original way of sharing information was I feel better structured and a lot easier to watch.
