This video is great. Anyone looking to just change the bulb. All you have to do is remove the umbrella holder and the two brackets on the arm bar, like in his video. Pop everything from the back and you can reach in and change the bulb. Only takes 10-15 mins. Thanks for this video!

+billionaire24 My bulb is out and when i see that i need to remove the trunk to reach them then ill just buy LED's and replace them cause its useless to change original nonfacelift bulbs at this modern LED years heh.

Thanks for the info. I have a 2008 CL63 It's set up is a little bit different but similar. I see you took the trim off I will do that next time I ran out of sun light to finish. Didn't finish unfortunately 😔

The yellow pins that you have to squeeze together to get them to release is easier with a 1/4 socket multi point. Just put it over the top and push down. I was having to hard of a time with needle nose pliers.

I think I I might have blown a fuse, I put then both in hooked then up and only one was on then I tried to switch them out and neither work.

If you’re just replacing the lamp/bulb it’s a lot less needed. This is to switch to the full LED units.

If there is nothing behind the trunk cover why not just carefully cut your own little door you can open & close to this area to eliminate all that work taking everything apart?

There was few on Amazon and eBay. The ones I have I don't know any one selling them. I was going to sell them but never could work it out with the manufacture. Im one to look for mid to high end when comes to products that might sell or use. Not many use the amount of leds or use the better boards as well as gasket selles and so on. Biggest problem with all them are they dont offer a way to lock them in so plug doest just come out.
