How to Install Front SRT Brembo Brakes on a Durango R/T

Amazing video. I think this is a must do for any R/T. I’ll have to do it when it’s time to change my brakes.

Those caliper bracket bolts are torx bolts be careful with that 12 point you might strip them if the ever get stuck In there due to rust! But great video with lots of good info!

Nice. Grab yourself an E20 Torx socket. That's the proper socket for the caliper bolts.

That’s good to know u don’t have to swap hubs to run brembos I buying a set now only didn’t cause I thought it was like rt charger or challenger and has whole different hub from the srt stuff super happy I looked this up

and also I do have spacers on the stock rims and they are 20's , Thank you for your time in advance

Great video it seems the v6 and Rt Durango share the same braking system which is great!!! My 392 Daytona had 6 piston been is as well and the are awesome. I’m gonna look into doing this mod on my AWD limited Durango!!!

I’m about to do this upgrade but I’m concerned there won’t be enough clearance with the stock r/t rims, you didn’t seem to have that issue but or rims are different.

Did your brakes have good pressure after u did this? I did it on my jeep gc RT and they said I need to hook up a scanner for the abs pump

What is the reason for purchasing the Titan 1" Hubcentric Wheel Spacers? I don't see them referenced anywhere in either the front or rear video. Who powdercoated them for you, and did you have to disassemble them prior to powdercoating or did they do that?

Ok, but they look good but do they actually stop better?

Why not attach the new caliper before disconnecting the brake line from the old so you don’t drain so much fluid and have less bleeding to do.

Great insight doesn’t the Hemi Durango and gt models share the same oem brake calipers lines etc? I’d do I’m gonna put a set of bremnos on my AWD limited since my 392 Daytona has these 6 pistons and they are awesome

Are those the stock 20x8-inch wheels for the R/T? I was led to believe that those wheels don't have enough clearance for the Brembo calipers. Did you have to use offset spacers?

Hey Zac awesome job, what size rotors where u able to fit. The srt has 380mm front and 350mm in rear. While the Rt came with 350mm front and 330mm in the rear.

I have a 2016 DD R/T with tow n go 20x10 wheels I had put(no lift); so, I lowered the tire size to 275 45r20 A/T for now because I'm not sure about 285/50r20. My abs is trying to adjust to it, so I'm considering adding that big brake set to see if it handles the wheel mod better. Do they have to update the ABS system to accommodate it?

Does the pins and the rattle clip come with the Caliper 68146610AA . The blow up illustration shows non Brembo brakes. Just wanted to make sure I did not have to buy any other parts.
