Did you since improve the camera design? Mine does not have a bendable joint, which is awesome because the top of my TV is like 1cm thick. So that's cool, no idea how I'm gonna make this work
My 98QM8 arrives Saturday morning. My girls 65" Sony broke 2 weeks ago and I replaced it with the 75" QM8. I fell absolutely in love with and I'm replacing my 83" LG-C1 OLED with the TCL. The blacks on this TV is insane. Definitely OLED quality to my eyes.
Govee! Make this unit so the camera can be detached from the bracket arm! I want to simply place the camera on the TV cabinate, in front of the TV looking up. I don't want a huge bracket/arm over the top of my screen.
You can use both cameras if you buy a t2.just install lights on the inside of the parameter on the t1 lights and set it up from the bottom that's what I've done. It looks really good.
1:50 the app doesnt work for me at this step i cant calibrate my camera. It shows the tv screen but theres no blue circle points to allow me to drag to the corners....
We're having the same issue. Support had me reboot the hub that the camera is connected to but it still doesn't work. I even had Amazon send me a second entire unit and THAT camera won't calibrate either! I'm about to uninstall the whole thing and switch to a different company.
I have a 48’ tv, using a 65’ led strip . Instead of sticking the led strip flat to the back of the tv you could can do a wave type shape so the led strip is sticking every inch or so ~~~~~~~~
Hey!! I’ve tried everything but on a black screen, my right side of the tv is always on like a white/light blue color, way brighter that the left side! I already replaced the whole unit and got the same result, HELP PLEASE!!! 😢
It's diffused you dont really need them directly on the corners, and while you can force them to go into the corners it prob wouldn't really look any better.
If I purchase the T2 and install it on my LG 65" curved TV, I would like to know if it will work with the same performance as on flat TVs. Thank you. Si j'achète le T2 et que je l'installe sur mon LG 65" incurvé TV, j'aimerais savoir s'il fonctionnera avec les mêmes performances que sur les téléviseurs plats. Merci.
Disappointing that we can't upgrade that system and add Govee Light Bars to it for instance on each sides of the TV. We're basically stuck with only 1 strip
@@Groknok The video did not adress that the camera does not see the whole screen and that you cannot move the calibration point in the app. I placed my camera in front of the TV and it does record the whole tv screen and I´d say it is very accurate- in fact, more accurate than almost any of the videos I see on RU-vid. I wonder why novody really adresses this? Or am I missing something?
You likely won't want this after a short time. Eventually it will bug you that the black areas on the screen light up the lights. So a scene that is very dark is going to have this white halo on the wall because the LEDs don't turn off individually when the edge of the screen is black. It's so stupid, it's crazy to me that they released an updated generation and this is still acceptable to them. I was in their forums asking for this to be fixed over 2 years ago....
Calibration details are brief and useless. T2 buyer Doesn't mention how to setup both cameras and dragging the calibration points on your phone app. Click on right screen and click on left screen doesn't explain if it's calibrated at those positions and you've got to get a dual screen on your app and calibrate both or you only have effects on half the screen 3 hours later and you're still not sure you calibrated it correctly
99.99% of the Bears "fans" that want Caleb hasn't watch a single game of his. You don' t pass up multiple 1st round picks for an unproven rookie QB that cries in his mommy's lap after a tough loss.
